    Pencil, 5 1/4" long, mechanical pencil, silvertone top portion black lower portion. Pencil reads "Bartlett Implement Co., Phone 837-2601, Bartlett, Illinois." The Bartlett Implement Company was once located at 120 W. Bartlett Avenue. It opened in 1941 and was operated initially by brothers Edmund Krumfuss and Alvin Krumfuss. The company sold John Deere equipment and other farm supplies and closed in 1971.

See pictures. Bartlett State Bank was the Village's first financial institution. It opened its doors in 1910 and closed in 1985. In 1980, its name was changed to Bartlett Bank and Trust Company.

    Jar/bottle opener, 5 1/2" x 3 1/2", metal, imprinted on handle is "Vendl's Groceries-Meats-Liquors Bartlett's Friendly Store." The opener was multipurpose. One end opened bottles and the other larger lids. The item was made in Canada. Vendl's Grocery & Market was once located at 116 W. Bartlett Avenue and began operation by August 1957 and closed by 1963.
