Bartlett boys Gerald Faber, left, and Arthur Atchison (1927-2008), right, enlisted in the U.S. Navy together on October 5, 1944 along with Wayne Jensen, not pictured. Atchison began wearing his ruptured duck on July 16, 1946 after his discharge at Great Lakes. Faber was medically discharged on August 15, 1945.
