    Image, digital, color, Front- man sitting at desk, looking over shoulder at camera, file cabinets on each side of desk. This is the work area of Bartlett's first freestanding post office which was located at 301 W. Railroad Avenue in Bartlett. Bartlett Postmaster Ralph Watermann looks up from his work for this picture taken by John Zimmerman, Bartlett's first letter carrier. Watermann served as postmaster from 1949 to 1972.
