Ticket, claim check, 3" l x 1 1/12" h, paper, orange, Front- printed in black- "...Claim check 8550, Schultz Hardware, The Old Fashioned Hardware Store...", written in ink- "Blade" Back- printed in gray- "After the Sale it's the Service that counts!, Thank You" "The Old Fashion Hardware Store" was the motto used when John and Monica Schoppe operated the business beginning in 1984. Schultz Hardware opened in 1910, when Herman Schultz opened his first store at 120 W. Bartlett Avenue. In 1926, Schultz had a two-story building constructed at 110 W. Bartlett Avenue. The old fashioned hardware store closed its door forever in 1999. |
