Calendar, 3 1/2" l x 8 1/2" w, white paper, Front- printed in red ink "The Olympian...The Milwaukee Road," printed in blue ink "Chicago...Tacoma," January, February, and March calendars, Back- blank. This calendar also served as a blotter when writing with pen and ink. Lifelong resident, Harvey Brandt (1903-1970) worked for the Milwaukee Road in several departments during his long career there. This blotter is from his estate. The Olympian, an electrical operation, ran from Chicago out to the western cities of Butte, Spokane, Seattle and Tacoma. |
