Trophy, 16" l x 6" w, plastic, metal, top of the trophy- statue of a man swinging a golf club, pink and gold column portion, marble like base and cap, an eagle on either side, engraved on plaque- "Bartlett Mens Golf League, C Flite Champ 1991, Earl Beckner." Earl Beckner (1930-2015) moved to Bartlett in 1958 with his wife and family. Earl was onetime village administrator, village trustee and village treasurer. He also served as the finance director and manager of Bartlett Hills Golf Club. His hobbies included, no surprise, golf! He was a member of the Bartlett Hills Men's Golf League where he was awarded this trophy in 1991. |
