Uniform. two piece, Dress jacket (2013.26.a), no size, navy, wool, single breasted, four silvertone buttons with "FD" and laurel, two breast pockets, two lower flap pockets, left sleeve- shoulder patch white with red stitching "Bartlett and Countryside Fire Protection District" and stitched design, right shoulder- American flag, right breast pocket- silvertone pin (2013.26.11c) "Bartlett and Countryside FD" , above right breast pocket- silvertone name badge(2013.26.11d) "W. Vlasak", right lower sleeve- Red Cross patch,.lower left sleeve- 4 Maltese crosses,shoulder epaulets with one silvertone button each, lined, back vent, manufactured by "Krest Custom Tailors, Forest Park, IL" Slacks (2013.26.11b), navy blue, no size or manufacturer name. Walter "Wally" Vlasak (1925-2013) was an 82 year Bartlett resident. He served on the Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department for many years. This was his dress uniform for the department. |
