Postcard, 3 1/2" l x 5 1/2" w, paper, Front- "Merry Christmas, The Bartlett Tavern," is printed in white at the top of an image of the tavern, the image is of eleven men sitting around the bar and six people sitting at a table near the bar, Back- "Photo Post Card" is printed at the top of the paper, "Address" is printed on the right side of the line that splits the card down the middle, there is a stamp with an image of a snowman and Christmas tree in the top right corner. This holiday greeting postcard was sent out by the Bartlett Tavern in 1963 to their patrons. The image was taken by photographer and Bartlett resident Don Honick. Wayne Jensen is tending bar. Then owner Serena Jensen, Wayne's mom, is sitting at the table, second on left. |
