Bag, 21" h x 13" w x 6 1/2"d, paper, white, Front & back- full color illustration of rear view of man and woman riding in vintage automobile, packages in rear, printed in red- "We've Been to Schultz's," Bottom- printed in black- "Equitable Bag Co., Inc. N.Y". and more. This charming paper shopping bag once held customer's purchases from Schultz Hardware store. It dates to the 1970s. Schultz Hardware began operations in 1910, when Herman Schultz opened his first store at 120 W. Bartlett Avenue. In 1926, Schultz had a two-story building constructed at 110 W. Bartlett Avenue. The store closed in 1999 after holding a liquidation sale. It was the last Bartlett business to be fully intact on the interior and exterior. |
