Postcard, 5 1/2" x 3 1/2", sepia, looking down dirt road, trees/bushes on each side and at horizon, in distance on right side of road are structures and corn field. On front in white- "40502, Road to Town, Bartlett, Ill." On back in black- "Genuine Photograph C. R. Childs, Photograph Post Card, Chicago" and in banner- "Post Card" and "This space for ad ress[sic] only" and box for stamp. Unused. This road could possibly be Oak Avenue at Lake Street, Route 20, looking south into town. Structures, home and outbuildings on right, are unidentifiable. |
