Description |
Painting, 19 1/2" h x 25 1/2"w, framed, color, train engine with passenger cars on train track, brown background gives appearance of movement and speed, appears that front of engine artwork has been "cut in" to allow customization for name of engine. On right is signature of artist "N. J. Zullo" Framed illustration of the Village of Bartlett engine. Built by the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors beginning in 1973 and completed in 1974. This was the first of 13 new engines, ordered by the Northwest Suburban Mass Transit District (NWSMTD), to be dedicated. This picture once hung in the NWSMTD offices which were once located in the former baggage room of the original Bartlett depot. |
