Mitt, baseball, no size, leather, left-handed, front and back held together with metal grommets and leather lacing, leather tie from glove to thumb. imprinted on leather band at wrist- Patent Applied For" , no manufacturer information. Herbert Schnadt (1900-2001) was a member of the Bartlett Cubs, a Bartlett men's amateur baseball team. This was his mitt. The Cubs played teams from surrounding communities with their home games played in Bartlett Park. Herb's father, Herman Schnadt, was the team's manager at one time. |
