Register, cash, overall height 22", Base-19"w x 5 1/4"h x 153/4" d, Register- 12"w x 15"h x7 1/2"d, chrome, plastic, Front- lower right imprinted-serial number 4599251, number below 1944 (3S-1B)-1LC, six rows of keys-1st row-salesperson keys in letters and "Release", 2nd row-amount keys in denominations of ten dollars, $90-$20, $10 key missing, 3rd row amount keys in denominations of single dollars from $9 -$1, 4th row- denominations of tens of cents from 80 to 10 cents, 90 cents key missing, 5th row- amount keys in denominations of single cents from 9 to 1 cents, 6th row- department keys in Roman numerals from IV to I. Service repair sticker affixed to transaction indicator, hinged flap for register tape, hinge locked door to access mechanicals, cash drawer in base, Back- "NCR" at top left, full length hinged locked door on left, small hinged locked door bottom right, electric cord and plug, Right side- two hinged doors, Left side- level near front. This register came from 113 S. Railroad Avenue, the business commonly known as the Bartlett Tavern (Tap). In 2019, the business reopened under new ownership and the register, no longer needed, was donated to the museum which now has two cash registers from this historic Bartlett business. |
