Umbrella, 38" diameter, black, fabric, metal handle, wording and illustrations produced by using different colors "puff" paint, in green, "Celebrating Celebrate, The Village of Bartlett, Progress with Pride", in pink, "1891 2016,125th Anniversary," illustration of trains, gazebos. The Arts in Bartlett has celebrated Bartlett Heritage Days with a community art project. In 2016, decorate an umbrella was the challenge! The umbrellas were displayed at Heritage Days (then held the first weekend after Labor Day) for all to see and enjoy. This umbrella, a salute to Bartlett's 125th year of incorporation in 2016, was decorated by resident Rita Lopienski. |
