T-shirt, tank style, size XL, red, cotton, Front- screened in white- GUNS & HOSES", screened in white a handgun and a portion of fire hose, in gold- signatures of Firefighters on the team and their number, Back- nothing. Guns & Hoses was established in 1996 by members of the Bartlett Fire Protection District and the Bartlett Police Department with the goal to raise funds for causes in the community. A charity basketball game was on such event that pitted the fire department, the hoses, against the police department, the guns. In the 1997 game this tank was worn by members of the fire department team with each signing their name and number. It was then given their coach John Whitmer a member of the former Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department and who also has served as a fire district trustee and fire district commissioner. |
