Ashtray, 6 3/4" diameter, ceramic, cream color with goldtone rim, on front is illustration of bank building in green with bank logo and words in green, "Bartlett State Bank, 335 S. Main St., Bartlett, Illinois 60103, PH: 312-837-2611, Member FDIC" Four notches in rim to hold Cigarettes. Promotional giveaway by bank. The Bartlett State Bank was Bartlett's first financial institution. It opened in 1910 at the northwest corner of Oak and Bartlett Avenues. In 1973, the bank moved to its Main Street location into this illustrated facility. Ownership of the bank has changed hands several times since 1985 when it was purchased by Suburban Bancorp, Inc. and the Bartlett State Bank ceased operations. Today, 2016, BMO Harris Bank operates out of this building and donated this ashtray. |
