Baseball, 9" dia., horsehide, stamped in black- "Belknap Sports Good, Semi-Pro League", written in black marker, "1973 Bartlett Indians '8-17'", In green, blue, black ink, signatures of players, coach, manager. The 1973 Bartlett Indians was a senior (16-18 year-olds) Babe Ruth Team (part of the Irving-Lake Babe Ruth Association) sponsored by the Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department. The team won 8 games and lost 17 that year, but who was counting. The players, Manager Clay Tiknis and Coach Mark Tiknis all signed this baseball. Two of the players, Greg Kindred and Ron Pondell made the Irving-Lake Babe Ruth Association All Star Team |
