Poster, 11" w x 14" h, cardboard, cream, Front- printed in blue- "1 + 1+ 1 = 20. 1-Tiknis-4Yrs., 1-Faber-8 Yrs., 1- Jacobson -8 Yrs., Re-elect 20 years of Experience and Service Tuesday April 18th, vote for the Incumbents", Back- written in ink- "Fund Lange Putz Ba O'Conner(?) On April 18, 1967, Bartlett residents went to the polls to elect their village trustees. Three incumbents, William Tiknis, Jerome Faber and Ernest Jacobson joined together in creating this campaign poster touting their years of board experience. Tiknis and Jacobson were successful in their bid. Faber was not. He lost to Irene Iverson, who was a former village trustee and first woman elected to that position. She previously served from 1963-1965. |
