Mask, Surgical, 3" l x 12" w, cotton, elastic, right side daisies with blue background, wrong side 1969 Woodstock pattern. The wearing of face masks become mandatory in businesses and other public buildings as Covid-19 spread in 2020. Initially in short supply, people started sewing and making their own. Resident Barbara Humbracht sewed masks for her friends and members of her church congregation. She donated this one to the museum via safe social distancing. |
