Picture, needlework, 25" x 29", wooden framed under glass, wire hanger, Front- beige fabric, stitched in brown- "Let Our Freedom Continue To Ring", stitched in blue-"1776-1976", stitched in green- "Designed and stitched by Brownie Troop 54 May 1975", stitched in multiple colors- Liberty bell, apple tree, drum, candle and snuffer, American flag, butter churn, spinning wheel, house. Back- written in black are names and ages of troop members. As the nation and Bartlett prepared for the Bicentennial, the members of Brownie Troop 54 designed and crafted this commemorative needlework piece and presented it to the Village. The Brownies were Heidi Bimrose, Cathy Feigel, Denise Ghidorzi, Christine Grellner, Jill Grellner, Elizabeth Jacobson, Denise McMahon, Lorena Midtsem, Nancy Neumann, Amy Fitch, Susan Ranft, Teri Ranft, Michelle Szarzinski and Amanda Wojtko |
