Brochure, political, white, paper, folded horizontally, front- black and white portrait image of a man, printed in black, "Marvin White for Trustee, Vote April 7", Inside- White's biographical information, Back- list of "More" and "Less". In 1981, Marvin White was elected to the Village Board and began his eight-year tenure. He was initially chairperson of the Police & Health Committee and served on the Finance & Personnel Committee. The balefill was once of the main issues the Board dealt with during this time. White was the first and to date the only person of color, to have been elected to serve on the Village Board. |
