Postcard, 4" w x 6" l, black & white, Front- two-story clapboard house with rounded front porch and center three-story tower, trees. Back- label attached states, "Historic Struckman House Photo by George Garcia" This postcard is part of a series taken by Bartlett High School students in the Advanced Photo Class during the 2005-2006 school year. The postcards were sold as a fundraiser by the school. This image was taken by Mike Garcia. Located at 400 W. Oneida Avenue, this house was home to Bartlett's 1st and 3rd Village President George Struckman and his family. The two front first story windows have a border of stained glass on three sides. The rounded "hooded" windows and center tower exemplify the Victorian Italianate style. |
