It was a huge success due to the generosity of Bartlett residents who donated their time, funds and books. This bookmark, supplied by the Bartlett State Bank, noted the hours the library maintained in the village hall. A referendum committee was created that began working for a passage to create a library district. The election was held in 1972 and it passed. |
