Thermometer, 8 1/2" w x 8 1/2" l, glass, paper, string, Front- Art Deco design in navy blue printed on mirror, in center thermometer with circle advertisement below, in black, "Phone Bartlett 2351. Bob's Cocktail Lounge, Route 20 at Bartlett Road" Back- mirror clipped to padded backing where hanging string with tassel attached. Bob's Cocktail Lounge was once located on the southwest corner of Lake Street and Oak Avenue. In the early 1960s, it sponsored a bowling team! The business has since closed and the building razed. Today a Welcome to Bartlett sign greets those entering the Village's limits. |
