Helmet, 16.5" l x 12.5"w x 6.4" h, fiberglass, fabric, metal, creamy white, Front- white leather patch with fire emblem center, red cut-ins with words "Chief", "Bartlett" in white. plastic hinged faceshield/google, black edge trim, back hanger hook, reflective tape, chinstrap, earlaps, impact cap. Under back brim- manufacturer label, UL approved label, black hook/loop tag with red plastic tips, printed in white "600 BART", "CHIEF" In February 2006, Kevin Heine was sworn in as chief of the Bartlett Fire Protection District and served in that capacity until his retirement in March 2010, ending his 30 years of service to the department. This was his helmet. Note the identification tag attached underneath with hook and loop. The "600" represents the chief level. "BART" is the four-letter abbreviation for Bartlett. Every community has one. The tag is removed and adhered at the "Command Center" at a fire for accountability as to who is involved at the scene. |
