Description |
Sign, 24" x 24", plastic, white, two-sided, same wording both sides, printed in red- "Please," printed in black- "Don't Divide Our Town & Children," black crack between wording. In 1997, parents protested when Bartlett HIgh School opened and School District U-46 changed its school boundaries lines. This resulted in not every Bartlett high school student being able to attend Bartlett High School. Students in the Walnut Hills subdivision had to attend Streamwood High School. Buttons with the same message were also produced and worn. The district did not renege and the new boundaries remained in place. |
