Print, photographic, 9 3/4"w x 7 3/4"h, black & white, eight adults and two young girls standing/sitting inside a photo studio wearing wedding attire and holding bouquets or wearing boutonnieres. Louis Humbracht, age 25, back row second from left, married Gladys Schick, age 21, first row, 4th from left, on February 3, 1940 at Bartlett's Immanuel United Church of Christ. They were the 150th couple to be married at the church which chartered in 1891. Lawrence Humbracht, back row third from left, brother of the groom, was the best man. Viola Schick, back row second from right, the bride's sister, was the maid of honor. Jane Humbracht, front row, first on right, the groom's sister was an attendant. The reception was held at the Bartlett Tavern in the second floor dance hall. |
