From the right working to the east (left) are the following businesses at that time.- O'Brien's General Store, note "Post Office" sign above the door, The Eck Tavern or (Hugo's depending on the year the photo was taken), Bartlett Tavern, trees hiding the old telephone exchange later Mungerson's Barber Shop, homes, then the dairy with the tall smokestack. The street between O'Brien's and The Eck is Oak Avenue. |
