Back- written in ink, "Memorial Service, May 30, 1967" The ninth annual Memorial Day Parade for the Tri-Villages of Bartlett, Hanover Park and Streamwood took place on May 30, 1967. The parade began at Bartlett Park and ended at the cemetery for a program, pictured here. Organizations like the Boy and Girl Scouts along with veterans and others were invited to participate. Then Tefft Junior High School Band led the parade making this their first public parade appearance. The speaker is unknown. In April 1967, a "new road surface" was completed at the cemetery in time for the service. |
