Image, digital, black& white, Front- five men and one woman, sitting around a round table/booth, inside, glasses and bottles on table, some people smoking, in background is serving station with coffee,dinnerware and more. Serena Jensen (1904-1997), first on right, and her husband Edward (1894-1952), not in image, owned the Bartlett Tavern from 1942 to 1969. After Ed's 1952 passing, their son Wayne, also not in image, helped in the operation. Serena is sitting and her table, which was located in the back of the back of the tavern. From there she could keep an eye on everything. All the men are unknown. |
