They are standing in front of the "Village of Bartlett" engine, not fully detailed in paint and identification scheme, in the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors Corporation yards in LaGrange, IL. First of the new commuter locomotives acquired by the Northwest Suburban Mass Transit District (NWSMTD) it would be christened on April 6, 1974 as the " Village of Bartlett" engine. |
