Railroad Avenue, the Bartlett Tavern, pictured here in 1957, is Bartlett's oldest businesses, being established in 1884.. Edward and Serena Jensen have been the longest owners to date, purchasing the business in 1942 and operating it until 1969. Nicknames of the business included The Tap and Jensen's. Note the beer signs advertising the brands they carried. The door on the far left was the entrance to the dance hall above. |
