Print, photographic, 4 1/2" h x 3 1/4" w, black & white, Front- headshot of man wearing suit, tie and eyeglasses, curtains behind, hand of someone on his right shoulder, image cut to this size prior to donation. Henry C. Thurnau (1888 -1958) was village president at the time this picture was taken. This image and 2014.21.15 of William Bull were part of a larger image cut apart prior to donation. Thurnau, one-time owner of Thurnau's Sweet Spot and later partner of Thurnau & Benicke, a farm implement dealership, was also active in community affairs. He was elected Hanover Township clerk and Hanover Township school trustee. |
