Serena Jensen (1904-1997) and her husband Edward (1894-1952) owned the Bartlett Tavern at 113 W. Railroad Avenue from 1942 to1969. With the passing of Ed in 1952, Serena continued to operate the tavern with the help of her son Wayne. Here Serena takes a break and enjoys a brief rest at one of the tables on New Year's Eve in 1960. Note the Christmas paper placemats on the table. In the background is a pinball machine |
