All people are unidentified. The Bartlett Firemen's Festival Parade began in 1962 to celebrate 25 years of the Bartlett Firemen's Festival which began in 1938. The parade became a part of the August weekend celebration until the festival ended in 1969. Pictured here is the parade on Railroad Avenue (looking east). In the background, on the left side is the Set Screw & Manufacturing Company. On the right is the Illinois Bell building built in 1962. |
