Print, photographic, black & white, 8" x 10", Front- angle shot of train engine with large building behind it, printed on engine- "Northwest Suburban Mass Transit District" and "Village of Bartlett." First of the new commuter locomotives acquired by the Northwest Suburban Mass Transit District (NWSMTD), the Village of Bartlett engine would be christened on April 6, 1974 at the Bartlett train station. The engine was built by Electro-Motive Division of General Motors Corporation and photographed at it's facility located in LaGrange IL. |
