Image, Digital, sepia, cream mounting board, Front- bride standing in long sleeved, high necked, waist corseted white wedding gown and veil with headpiece, groom sitting with hand on knee on high back bench, wearing dark three piece suit, corsage on lapel, lower left imprinted- "S.M. Adams of Elgin, IL" Alma Schick (1894-1931) and William Humbracht (1884-1952), then a junior partner in the meat trust, were united in marriage on March 4, 1909. The couple were blessed with three children, Harold, William G. and Florence. |
