Description |
Image, digital, color, Front- looking wall unit, with flocked wallpaper, on which is displayed books, trinkets and TV, woman is standing at left. Pam Mydill Cooper, pictured here, shared the following about this 1972 image, "This was my bedroom in the basement I designed and both my grandfather's [Gus Mydill and Roy Hinz] built for me. Red and gold flocked wallpaper, porcelain knobs, tin light fixtures and mirror. Loved the hidden pull out full length mirror...When my parents realized I was going to work (IBT) instead of moving out to attend college, this was the next best thing to move into the basement. And it was a fun project with the both of them [my grandfathers]. Awesome memory! Pam Mydill Cooper grew up at 108 N. Marion Avenue. |
