Description |
Transparency, slide, 2" x 2", color, two story home, painted white, with first floor bay window and entrance. Smokehouse located in the rear of lot. Visible on right side in image. Located at 102 S. Oak Avenue, the southwest corner of Oak and North Avenues, this home was built circa 1874, for the Louis Humbracht Sr. family. Humbracht Sr. was a cattle dealer and settled in the Bartlett area as a child. Later the single family home was converted into apartments by Alvina Humbracht Winkleman, daughter of Louis and Minnie Humbracht Sr., and became known as the Winkleman Apartments as pictured in this image. |
