Back-stamped in blue ink-" Photo by Don Honick", written in pencil- "B6363-2" Bartlett had men's baseball teams back in the day, such as the Bartlett Cubs, but there have also been men's softball teams too, as pictured here. The teams played at one time in Bartlett Park, the village's oldest park. Today, the ball fields have been removed and play has been relocated to other parks. Then Village President Leo Blanchette is sitting on the bench, first person to the viewer's right of the fence pole. The homes in the background are on Eastern Avenue. |
