They set sail for home on October 1, 1907. Struckman immigrated to the USA from Germany in the early 1850s. He was born in Hanover, Germany. Struckman, a retired farmer by then, was Bartlett's first and third village president and held other political offices. Both Struckman and Busch traveled second class.
