Pencil, 4" l, x 1/4" d, Bakelite, metal, wood, rubber, Cream Bakelite barrel- printed in green- John Deere logo, printed in red- "Thurnau & Krumfuss, Bartlett, Illinois" red line around top and bottom of barrel, eraser end- hardened, metal tip pulls out to expose pencil which has been used. The John Deere logo featured on the pencil dates it to 1936. In that year the silhouette of the deer was smoothed making it easier to stencil on products. ...
