The Bartlett Jaycees were know for their annual haunted house fundraiser which began in the late 1970s.

Poster, 8 1/2" x 11", paper, yellow, Front- printed in black, "Bartlett families:...Bartlett Hills Golf Course Dedication Day...Fireworks Finale" On February 25, 1978, the residents of Bartlett voted on a referendum to purchase Bartlett Hills Golf Course, saving it from becoming a subdivision. The vote passed 1,129 to 301. On July 9, 1978 a dedication ceremony was held.
