Fred Hecht (1883-1942) surmises his two large hogs and a couple of chickens. Prior to moving to Bartlett in between 1935-1937, the Hecht's large farm was once located off of Irving Park Road in what is today Streamwood.

    Bowl, 12" dia. x 4" h, enamel metal, white with black rim. The Fred Hecht farm was once located on Irving Park Road in what is today Streamwood. Hecht also operated a threshing businesses throughout the area traveling from farm to farm helping with the harvesting. This metal bowl was used by the threshers to wash their hands before a meal in the fields.
