Black /brown leather bound book with gold embossed Village of Bartlett seal and gold border at top and bottom. Measures 10 1/4" across, 8 1/2" top to bottom, 3/4" thick. Used on May 26, 1968 for guests to sign at the Village Hall dedication ceremony. Then Illinois U.S. Senator Everett Dirksen, guest speaker, was the first person to sign.

All it took in 1968 was a push from a small front end loader and the walls of Bartlett’s first Village Hall came tumbling down.
