List, 8 1/2" w x 11" l, paper, one-sided, Front- list of names of people on the Bartlett Hills Preservation Commission, In 1974, the commission was established to save Bartlett Hills Golf Club, then owned by individuals, who wanted to sell it for a possible subdivision. The commission looked into possible grants and other means of funding for a village purchase. On February 25, 1978, residents voted to purchase and improve the course by a vote of 1,129 to 301. Some of the residents on the commission had homes on Kathy Lane and Little John Ct. that backed up to the course. |
