Letter, paper, written in ink, "Bartlett, Ill, March 20, 1899 To the Board of Trustees of the Village of Bartlett Gentlemen, I herewith resign the office of the President of the Village of Bartlett to take effect at once. Very respectfully, George Struckman" Struckman, Bartlett's first and third Village President, was elected to serve in positions in Bartlett, Hanover Township, Cook Country and State offices. He returned to Springfield as a state representative in 1900. |
