Letter, 8 1/2" x 11", paper, Front- illustration of car driving down a snowy road at night, church on right, farm on left, hills in background. In blue- "Christmas 1953, It doesn't Have to Be Christmas.......for us to thank our good friends...Sincerely H. H. Schultz Hardware", Back- nothing. H. H. Schultz Hardware opened its first location at 120 W. Bartlett Avenue. In 1926, Herman H. Schultz built a two-story building and moved operations to the east at 110 W. Bartlett Ave. Members of the family operated the business until 1964 when it was sold. The family sent these holiday greetings of thanks for several years which were produced on different illustrated paper. Schultz Hardware closed in 1999. |
