Object Name pencil
Description Pencil, 4" long, wood and metal, square pencil with pull off metal tip cover which holds pencil. Eraser on opposite end. Painted cream. Pencil is sharpened and appears to have been used. Sides read as follows
side 1- "Humbracht Bros."
side 2-"Dealer in"
side 3- "Cattle-Calves Pigs"
side 4- "Phones Bartlett 3181-4861-2391"

Brothers William C.(1884-1952) and Edwin (1889-1951) were dealers in livestock. Later, William C's two sons, Harold "Butch" (1910-1983) and William G.(1915-1986) and son-in-law Roy Nickel (1909-1984) were also in the business.
